Red Farmhouse Cottage Dresser ~ SOLD!!!

Monday, February 6, 2012

SOLD!!!

BEFORE

I just finished this super cute RED 3 drawer dresser, just in time for Valentines Day!

Roses wilt and die, but this dresser won't!:)

It has been painted out red, distressed, a walnut stain on top and finished with a wax for protection.  New hardware was also added, drawers are dovetail, solid wood and original casters.

It measures 32" w x 18 1/4' d x 29" h.  I love the shaker detail on the sides.  It's fun, farmhouse, cottage and definitely a statement piece!

Restoration Hardware Inspired Highboy

Saturday, February 4, 2012
SOLD!!!

I just finished this gorgeous highboy and once again, I'm in LOVE:)  I love, love, love this new grey color!  It is silky and has both a feminine and masculine look to it.

I have also dry brushed this piece with white to add some depth to the color and enhance the distressed washed look.  It has been sealed with wax as well for protection.

This antique highboy is in MINT condition.  Solid walnut, Canadian made, the drawers are interlocked and the factory tacks are still on the drawer glides so they slide amazingly.  It is immaculate inside, cute spindle legs and beautiful original hardware.

It measures 18" d x 44" h x 32" W.
$450

So the only last question is, who is going to take this home?!

In Progress

Friday, February 3, 2012
I revealed two new colors on my facebook page earlier this week that I just purchased.  I am very excited to try something new!  I think the grey is so rich looking and the red is farmhouse and fun!

These are the two pieces I am currently working on.

This 4 drawer dresser is in MINT condition.  It's absolutely gorgeous.  The drawers are interlocked and slide amazing.  I love the spindle legs and the original hardware.

And this diamond in the rough is going to be a thing of beauty soon enough:)  The shaker detail on the sides and casters work perfectly for the farmhouse look I'm going to transform this into!

I'm hoping to finish up the highboy tomorrow, so keep your eye open for another post!
